Who we are?
Dermé was born out of personal need. For years, I struggled with keratosis pilaris and tried countless branded soaps and skincare products, but nothing seemed to work. Frustrated, I decided to create my own solution. I began formulating and testing each product on myself and my relatives, all with different skin conditions. By carefully blending natural ingredients with a gentle soap base, I discovered what truly makes a difference.

Our soaps are thoughtfully made using the traditional cold process soap-making method, a time-honored technique that preserves the natural goodness of each ingredient. This method allows the oils and butters to retain more of their beneficial properties, resulting in a bar that is gentle, nourishing, and rich in natural glycerin.
Each bar is crafted with real, natural ingredients, carefully selected for their skin-loving qualities. Our core recipe features extra virgin olive oil, unrefined coconut oil, and raw shea butter—a blend that creates a creamy, conditioning lather while helping to cleanse the skin without stripping its natural moisture.
I believe that skincare should be simple, honest, and effective. By combining traditional soap-making with high-quality natural ingredients, we create soaps that care for your skin the way nature intended.
What do we use as additives?
At Dermé, we believe that nature provides everything we need to create beautiful, skin-loving soaps. That’s why we carefully select thoughtful additives that enhance both the appearance and the experience of our products.
For color, we mainly use natural ingredients such as turmeric powder, moringa powder, and matcha powder, along with Brazilian and French clays in soft, earthy tones like pink, green, purple, and white. These plant-based and mineral-rich colorants give each soap its unique hue while staying true to our clean and mindful formulation philosophy.
In some designs, we also use biodegradable mineral micas that are approved for soap making. These cosmetic-grade colorants allow us to create beautiful swirls and subtle shimmer while remaining a responsible and safe choice for handcrafted soap.
To add a touch of luxury and visual beauty, we often finish our soaps with dried, natural botanicals. Delicate flower buds such as jasmine, lavender, chamomile, calendula, and roses are thoughtfully placed on top of the bars, creating an elegant, nature-inspired design that reflects the care behind every batch.
Each additive is chosen not only for its beauty but also for its connection to nature—bringing a simple, botanical charm to every dermé soap.
